Hotel Indigo Orange Beach - Gulf Shores by IHG

"Special thank you to Lesley for the warm welcome and Platinum Rewards greeting upon arrival and thank you for the upgrade! We were in town for the Veterans Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Fairhope, and this Orange Beach Hotel Indigo property made our stay even better. It’s a beautiful location nestled near beach homes, great restaurants, and coffee shops especially Southern Grind Coffee House. Their baked goods are delicious! (If you’re watching your carbs and sugar, just wait until your trip is over!) It’s also close to the must-visit Flora-Bama Lounge. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, and dog-friendly. The beds were great, and the Gulf Shores views were absolutely spectacular. Tip: If you’re a Rewards Member, be sure to ask for a late checkout at arrival if available. The hotel is very accommodating. We actually forgot to ask, and Lesley even gave us a thoughtful courtesy call while we were out, which we really appreciated since time got away from us. We will definitely return to this location. "The convenience of the restaurants attached to the resort and the beach shuttle were great, but there were a few things that could have been better. We have to give major props to Julie for being so kind and helpful, but a few of the others working around the resort were not as friendly. We were bummed out about the Fire Pit not working, but they did say they were actively working on getting it repaired. All in all, this was a great stay, but I wouldn’t recommend this as a long-term place to stay with a family as their rooms do not have any kind of cooking equipment, just a mini-fridge."

"Great place to stay! Very nicely decorated from the moment you walk through the front door. Room accommodations were fantastic. Convenient location right across from the beach, down the road from most major stores, right next to a lovely coffee shop & Ron Jon surf shop, & pet friendly. They even had dog treats & tennis balls 🎾 for your dogs. Staff were super friendly & accommodating, & ✅ on you to ensure your stay was all set. Thank you for a very pleasant experience! We will be back!"
