My Beach Getaways

"Our original condo that we booked ended up getting a leak. We were about 2 hours away from the condo when we got the call saying that we had to book a different condo. Beach getaways immediately sent us 10 plus condos that were in our price range that we could switch our reservation over to. We ended up with a beautiful condo right on the beach which was exactly what we asked for. I was really impressed with how quickly they were able to take care of this situation."

"We absolutely loved the condo upon entering. It was clean and had plenty of dishes in the kitchen to cook with. I would say adding a couple more towels would have been nice seeing as the condo holds 8 people. And the pullout couch bed could be replaced with a better mattress. Also, the dryer took forever to dry the clothes. Communication was lacking when it comes to the rental company. It took me forever to reach them as the phone # is listed wrong and they don't respond to emails very well. The instructions said there were beach toys in the closet on the balcony. We mentioned it was locked, no one ever showed up to let us in. There was construction going on above us with stuff coming down on the balcony and us, we were never informed anything was going on. The inside warmed pool was shutdown for 2 days along with the kids area the entire time we were there. Then it took an entire day for the pool to warm up. We were only there for 5 nights. Then the one day we could somewhat handle the outside pool, my daughter and I ended up with blue paint all over us. The edge of the pool was not freshly painted and it took us forever to get it off of us. We did mention it to a lady who works on the pools along with showing it to her on our bodies, she was shocked and said she would mention it to the front desk. We also mentioned it to the front desk, the lady did not seem to care. This was a rental at Phoenix V in Orange Beach, AL."

"It was wonderful. Everything we needed was in the condo. Neat, exquisite, clean!!"
